Play
as Curriculum is a ten-hour series for early care and education
professionals. This series helps early childhood educators
articulate how children learn from play, and build their skills
in creating an environment and schedule which supports learning
through developmentally appropriate play. The connection between
early learning standards and the benefits of play is the underlying
structure. Attention is paid to the teacher’s role and
what s/he can do to further enhance children’s play.
